The Supreme Student Council is envisioned as a perpetual independent student organization in the institution representing the students of the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College of both campuses, to the college administration, to the Board of Trustees, to the community and to the College and Universities and serves as a cradle of righteous leadership which aims to help in the attainment of the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of the college.
MISSION
- Produce more responsible, morally upright and globally competitive student leaders.
- The SSC recognizes the potential and capabilities of all its members and shall enhance their total development.
- Encourages and supports the students in promoting social, cultural, physical, intellectual and spiritual development of the common learner.
- Advances the welfare, ideals, and aspiration of the studentry.
- Serves as the instrument in voicing out legitimate and unlimited grievances of the students in accordance with their rights and prerogative under the Philippine Constitution and existing laws of the Republic.
GOALS and OBJECTIVES
- Uphold the ideas and objectives of the college.
- Promote the general welfare and uphold the fundamental rights of the student body; promote cordial relations, camaraderie, among students, faculty, administration, alumni and other stakeholders.
- Act as the voice which shall present students' situations, needs and opinions to the MPSPC administration.
- Participate and contribute to the development of the college.
- Be the vanguard of fundamental rights, interests and general welfare of the students
- Promote cordial relations among the students, and with the determination of rules and policies that directly affect the student.
- Act as the official representative to the body tasked with the determination of rules and policies that directly affect the students.
